-Each contestant is allowed to win a maximum of 2 total prizes, whichever 2 amount to the highest award. This includes both open and regional. Any subsequent prizes will go on to the next runner up
-There are a total of 9 regions for 12 prizes. 9 $2,000, and 3 $1,000 for the runner ups after the open class winners
-All contestants are automatically entered into the open class. Each competitor gets to align themselves with their appropriate region
-Unclaimed prizes will be given out as fun categorical prizes on competition day
-All measurements will be taken in accordance with the guidelines set by the competition
-Any tied positions will result in a split of the alotted amount
WINNERS
Our team wants thank each applicant and competitor to remember that each of you are outstanding.
Even if you did not win a grand prize, you still accomplished so much by being among the elite in the long hair community.
You all were given travel compensation to help you enjoy the experience, just for competing.
Hopefully on top of that getting the opportunity to participate in this event gave you direct access to your fans, networking with sponsors, and new ways to learn how to grow your socials and your hair from fellow rapunzels.
RULES
Age
All competitors must be over the age of 18, or be considered a legal adult. Fans of any age may enter the convention and view as spectators.
Future competitions may include a league for minors.
Gender
This is a competition that promotes the natural feminine beauty of women. To be eligible for the competition, the applicants must be biological females.
This is to ensure the prize money goes to the appropriate winners.
Hair
No extensions or wigs will be permitted. The competition aims to celebrate the natural growth , time, and effort spent to properly care for long female hair.
Colored hair is allowed.
Hairstyles
On competition day, the only acceptable hairstyles are naturally let down. It is to each competitors advantage so it can reach full length.
This will allow judges to accurately measure each contestant's hair
Haircuts
Half shaved, half long hair styles are not allowed. This is to be fair for competitors who grow their full head of hair long.
Bangs are allowed
Dreadlocks
Dreadlocks and braids will not be allowed for competition day.
These hairstyles hinder the judges' ability to differentiate between natural and fake hair

Photo submission
After reading the rules and understanding the guidelines of the competition, if you are eligible, reach out to @lasvegaslonghair on instagram, stating your interest or you can just fill out the application below. Include with your application, your first and last name, country of residence, social media, photo of your hair, and at least 2 possible regions that you can align yourself to. You may also use the simple form below to apply
Applications are reviewed monthly.
Video Interview
If you make it past the screening process you will be eligible for a video interview with one of our team. This will ensure that you get to meet us and we get to know you. During this interview we will go over the rules, and enforce one last screening to make sure you are properly educated on the competition standards, prizes, and travel instructions. You will also be assigned an official region.
Upon acceptance after this phase, some extra photos will be requested for posting on our website and social media. This is to help you attract more fans, brands, and sponsors.
Competition Check-in
Congratulations, you made it this far. On competition weekend you will be given a complimentary free stay at our venue. One final screening will take place at the desk. Any competitors who faked eligibility will not be granted access and will be banned from future competitions. The rooms provided may be used for your additional guests, up to 3 upon request. Guests will not have access to the competition unless they have tickets.
You will be recognized forever on our records and websites as a competitor and your photos will be public. Award winners will be listed with their achievement.
