I’m Kateryna, originally from Ukraine, but now locked away at the top of a tower in beautiful New Hampshire. I’ve had long hair for years, and whether you are impressed more by length (60”) or girth (try wrapping your hand around 6”), I’m your girl. However, I was often confused for a boy when I was a kid due to my very short hair and blue pants.

I’ve had a varied professional life, have pursued a PhD in electrical engineering, have owned online business, and have been fortunate enough to travel extensively, and currently I support myself through real estate investments and management.

I enjoy sports, board games, poker, sunrise raves and cosplay: both dressing up and creating my own costumes and accessories. Despite my looks, I’m a good cook. Despite the fact I have a lot of friends, I’m an introvert.

Today we had an interview with Michelle.
She’s been growing her hair for eight years, and today she shared her personal long-hair secrets with us. The main one? She brushes her hair eight times a day — that’s her ritual of discipline and self-care.

Michelle is originally from Venezuela, now living in Miami, building her career in real estate, traveling, going to the gym, and creating her own version of success.
Her favorite color is black, and her long hair is something that makes her feel feminine, confident, and inspiring — every centimeter showing her perseverance and love for herself.

I’m Cindy from Oklahoma, and it’s been 18 years since my hair last touched my shoulders. Today, it’s ankle-length, long enough to sweep the floor — and still growing!

Francesca Allen (b. 1993, England) is a photographer and director, known for her intimate depictions of girlhood and the often complicated coming-of-age experience. Stand out projects include ‘Plaukai’ and ‘Konkursas’, which were created in Lithuania at Konkursas Pasaulio Ilgaplaukės, an annual competition for the world’s longest hair. Drawn to the visual curiosity of the contest, which blends pageantry with folklore, Allen traveled to the city of Kaunas in November 2024 with a Lithuanian friend to document the event first-hand.

I’m Maria Filippova, a trichology judge with the Ukrainian Association of Masters, lecturer, and member of UART (Ukraine) and IAT (USA). I’m also the founder and co-owner of Omnia Hair Studio in Las Vegas.

I’m Erika, a photographer, visual artist, and heavy haul driver from Ohio. By day, I work in the construction industry, a job that demands strength, precision, and focus. Introducing our first judge at the 2026 Miss Rapunzel Long Hair Competition. Meet Jessie Martinez, owner of the George Michael Long Hair Salon in Beverly Hills, who is best known for styling, advising, and inspiring women in California and globally, who desire long luxurious hair. She has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1977

She brought the famous “GMLH System” to Los Angeles 40 years ago. Since then her business has grown to include a full service salon, the famous George Michael Long Hair Product line as well as a consulting operation for other hairdressers and salon owners.

Jessie, a long hair expert in her own right, brings over 65+years of experience of having and loving her own long hair and from working closely with Dr. George Michael in New York at the original George Michael of Madison Avenue Salon.

Jessie was born in Bitburg, Germany in 1957 to Puerto Rican American parents. She was raised in New York City and realized at an early age that her calling was in the beauty field.

Jessie’s desire to help people achieve their highest potential of their own beauty, and perhaps fate, brought her to the George Michael of Madison Avenue Salon New York in 1979.

It took me 7 years to grow my hair from classic length to floor-length, and it is now longer than my miniscule height.

I’m an artist and aspiring hair model, and random folks often call me Rapunzel at least once when I go outside. It brings me great joy when my “tail” puts a smile on peoples faces.

Caring for hair longer than myself is a therapeutic ritual that allows me to live in the moment, in such a fast-paced world.

My name is Dawn, and I’m from Olathe, Kansas, USA. I’ve been growing my hair for nine years, and it has become a meaningful part of my life.

Taking part in the 2026 Miss Rapunzel Long Hair competition is very special for me. I want to show my teenage daughter that it’s okay to try something new and step outside of your comfort zone, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

I don’t regret leaving my IT career — today I’m a full-time mom and parent-teacher. Alongside this, I run an urban flower farm where I enjoy being outdoors, working with nature, and building community through urban agriculture.

I also love volunteering in my church and community, giving back where I can.

My name is Maria, from Northern California, USA. I’ve been growing my hair for 8 years and is now down to my knees.
I work as a full-time Grant Writer for a non-profit organization providing quality healthcare with compassion and understanding.
On weekends, I record hair videos, trying out new products from different haircare and fashion brands. I believe that growing your hair long is a form of art because it requires a lot of dedication, passion and patience in order to grow it long AND healthy.
Fun fact: I can put my hair in a bun without using any hair accessories and it stays put!

Yesterday we welcomed Rapunzel Freya @akfreya to our Las Vegas Long Hair office.
She came for her live interview to become our contestant — and she passed beautifully.

With her naturally thick, gorgeous hair, Freya truly shines. After the interview, we shared coffee together and showed her a little piece of our garden here in Las Vegas.

That’s what it means to be part of our community — when Rapunzels come to Vegas, they not only have their interview, but also enjoy a warm chat, a tour of our office, and a bit of our everyday life. 💫

My name is Bossan, and I’ve been on my long hair journey for 13 years. Today my hair flows past 5 feet, and even though I’ve had a few daring trims, for me long hair will always be about tradition, patience, and pride.

In my free time, I create content that combines traditional remedies for hair care with modern approaches. And whenever I travel, I always look for food before landmarks — because nothing excites me more than discovering something delicious (a good gyro has my heart!).

It felt surreal and exciting, like the future arriving in the middle of Las Vegas. Our very first time trying it, and definitely not the last!”
